When we first started gathering people around open Bibles in living rooms and fellowship halls, we noticed something very simple: hearts soften when Scripture is read, questions are welcomed, and no one feels rushed. Our Bible Study Classes grew out of those early circles of chairs and coffee cups, where Filipinos, Kentuckians, and friends from other nations sat side by side and asked, "What does this really mean for my life?"
In these group studies, we walk slowly through books of the Bible, not just favorite verses. We read the passage, explain the background, and then talk together about how it speaks into marriage, work, parenting, loneliness, and hope. We encourage everyone to bring their own Bible if they have one, but we always have copies ready for those who do not. No question is too basic, and no honest struggle is brushed aside. We offer different settings so you can find where you fit best: mixed-age groups, men's and women's classes, and studies that especially help new believers build a strong foundation. Some meet on Sundays around our worship times, and others gather during the week, including options that occasionally meet online for those watching our livestream or working unusual schedules.
What you can expect is simple: clear teaching, open discussion, and warm fellowship - often with a pot of Filipino coffee or a plate of snacks nearby. Over time, these classes become more than "lessons." They become a circle of friends who pray when you receive hard news, celebrate when God answers, and gently point you back to Jesus when life feels confusing.
If you have been away from church for a while, are new to the faith, or simply long to understand the Bible more deeply, these classes are a gentle doorway into both Scripture and community.
