Christian leadership is not about titles; it is about towels - the kind Jesus wrapped around His waist when He washed His disciples' feet. Our Christian Leadership Training was shaped by that picture. As missionaries and pastors who have served across cultures, we have watched God raise up quiet servants who became steady leaders in homes, workplaces, and churches.
In these training sessions, we open the Scriptures to see how Jesus led, how the early church cared for people, and how character matters more than charisma. We talk honestly about integrity, humility, and the temptations that can trip up even sincere believers. Then we move from Bible principles to practical skills: how to lead a small group discussion, share your testimony, care for a hurting member, organize a simple outreach, or support a pastor and church planting team. Teaching times are interactive. We ask participants to practice what they are learning - perhaps by leading a short devotional, praying out loud for others, or helping plan a ministry event. Those who sense a call to deeper service, whether in music, children's work, teaching, or missions, receive additional mentoring and opportunities to "learn by doing" alongside more experienced servants.
Because we are part of a wider Baptist family, we also connect emerging leaders with training events and mission opportunities through our partner churches and associations when appropriate. Our desire is not to keep leaders to ourselves, but to see them sent into God's harvest, whether that is across the street or across an ocean.
If you feel a nudge from the Lord to serve more boldly, but do not know where to begin, this training provides a safe, encouraging path to grow, be stretched, and discover how God might use your gifts for His glory.
